Career Advancement Support for Internationally Trained Individuals

Join MPL for an informative session all about the Accelerating Career Advancement program through Achev.

The Accelerating Career Advancement Program supports internationally trained individuals  in relaunching their careers in Canada by providing a combination of financial assistance, accreditation guidance, and personalized career counselling.

Through the program, eligible participants can access micro-loans of up to $30,000 to cover costs such as tuition, licensing fees, examinations, books, and other accreditation-related expenses. In addition to financial support, clients receive free one-on-one career counselling and employment assistance to help them successfully navigate the Canadian job market.

The ACA program is designed for individuals in both regulated and non-regulated professions, helping them overcome barriers to employment and transition into roles that match their education and experience. With flexible repayment terms (1–5 years) and competitive interest rates, the program offers practical and accessible support for career advancement.

To qualify for Achev's services, individuals must meet the following requirements:

• Be a resident of Ontario


• Be an internationally trained individual (ITI) (You have a credential from outside Canada)


• Have a valid status such as:




• Permanent Resident


• Convention Refugee


• Canadian Citizen
