About This Event
k2i (Kindergarten to Industry) academy within the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University is excited to be hosting a free STEM Community Programs in partnership with the Markham Public Library (MPL). The program is open to youth in grade 4 to 6.
In this session, participants explore how engineers design sports safety equipment to prevent injuries. Participants create and prototype protective gear models while learning how engineering supports health, movement, and safety.
