About This Event

This informative workshop helps participants understand how estate planning works in Canada and how to effectively preserve and transfer wealth to the next generation. Attendees will learn whether Canada has an inheritance tax, what the so-called “final tax bill” means, and how to minimize tax liabilities upon death. The session also introduces estate transfer tools that operate outside of a will—such as beneficiary designations and joint ownership—and explains how to incorporate them into a comprehensive estate plan. Participants will gain practical strategies to ensure their assets are distributed smoothly, securely, and in accordance with their wishes.

This workshop will be facilitated in Mandarin.
