Have you ever been interested in researching your family history, but didn’t know where to start? Through the MPL e-library you can get started with free access to Ancestry Library Edition! Join this (one-time) program for an introduction on how to use Ancestry Library Edition, including the basic search functions and databases, as well as how to use any historical records and information you find to trace your family lineage back further in history.
This program is best suited to individuals who are at the beginning of researching their family history and any individuals who are brand new to using Ancestry or Ancestry Library Edition. If you've already started to research your family history on your own, but have never used this resource, you can bring any research notes assist with your searches.
NOTE: You do not need a subscription to Ancestry.ca or an Ancestry account to join this program. All searches will be done through the free in-branch access to Ancestry Library Edition.
