About This Event
Chronic pain becomes more common as we age, but understanding it can make a real difference. Join Dr. Angela Mailis from The Pain & Wellness Centre to learn why pain increases over time, what actually causes it, and practical approaches that can help manage pain and support everyday well-being.
Dr. Mailis is Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a specialist in Physical Medicine, specializing exclusively in the area of Chronic Pain for the past 44 years. She was the director of the Pain Program at the Toronto Western Hospital for over 30 years and for the past 11 years is the director of a large pain centre in Vaughan, the Pain and Wellness Centre.
