The Survivor’s Den: Primitive Shelter Building

Do you have what it takes to survive in the wild? Join us for a hands-on outdoor adventure designed for youth ages 8–18 and learn the basics of wilderness survival.

Working in teams, you'll explore the forest, gather natural materials, and build your own debris hut or lean-to shelter using resources found on the forest floor. Along the way, you'll discover the key elements of shelter design, practice problem-solving and teamwork, and gain confidence in your outdoor skills. This fun and interactive challenge will help you connect with nature while learning how people can use the forest's resources safely and responsibly.
