From the Shards, We Build Landscapes

From the shards, we build landscapes explores the relationship between bodies, built space and the materials that shape both. Working with concrete, wood, rubber and other industrial materials, the artists consider these substances at intimate, human scales, revealing traces of handling, pressure and contact. Presented within Industrial Arts’ raw setting, the exhibition creates a dialogue between the materiality of the building and the works it contains. Originally presented at Quase Espaço in São Paulo in 2024, the exhibition is curated by Yuluo Wei.
