York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect following a commercial break and enter in East Gwillimbury. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 30, 2026, between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m.
An unknown male suspect, who arrived on an electric bicycle, broke into a business in the area of Leslie Street and Farr Avenue. The suspect then attempted to enter several other businesses within the same plaza. The suspect was last seen traveling northbound on Leslie Street from Farr Avenue.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’7” to 6’ tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweater, blue jeans, white running shoes, and a black satchel. The suspect was operating a distinctive high-necked electric bicycle. The investigation is ongoing.
