RIP Buffy!

In honour of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s relatively recent announcement that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot will not be moving forward, we’re inviting every Millennial — and every longtime fan of the series — to join us for a nostalgic 90s/early-2000s throwback celebration inspired by the iconic world of Sunnydale.

This two-hour event will feature a variety of fun, Buffy-themed activities, including a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Trivia Night celebrating the reboot that never happened. Test your knowledge, relive your favourite moments, and compete for the ultimate prize: special Buffy merchandise and bragging rights worthy of a Slayer!

Guests are encouraged — but never required — to come dressed in their best 90s-inspired outfits. Think leather jackets, chunky boots, plaid, dramatic eyeliner, and all the classic Sunnydale vibes.

Before, and after trivia, we’ll unwind with a community potluck, enjoy reruns of the beloved original series, and, if time allows, create our very own “Kiss the Librarian” mugs.

Come for the nostalgia, stay for the community, snacks, and supernatural chaos. Whether you’re a dedicated Buffy fan or simply want a chance to meet new people and possibly form new friendships, there’s a place for you in Sunnydale.
