Question 1

What events are happening in Aurora this weekend?

Accepted Answer

Aurora's weekend calendar is anchored by Town Park and its library. The Aurora Farmers' Market runs Saturday mornings at Town Park from spring through fall, often paired with live music and community booths. Aurora Public Library offers free weekend programs — storytimes, maker workshops, and kids' clubs — while the Aurora Cultural Centre hosts concerts, exhibitions, and family workshops in the historic Church Street School building. Seasonal highlights include summer concert series at Town Park, outdoor movie nights, and large community celebrations through the year. York Happening updates Aurora listings daily — use the 'This Weekend' filter on this page to see confirmed Saturday and Sunday events, or browse categories like Family & Kids and Music & Concerts. Most park and library events are free to attend.

Question 2

Where can I find free events in Aurora?

Accepted Answer

Free events fill Aurora's calendar year-round. Aurora Public Library runs no-cost programs most days, from children's storytimes and STEM clubs to tech help and teen events. Town Park hosts the free Saturday farmers' market in season plus free summer concerts and festivals, and the Aurora Cultural Centre offers free exhibitions alongside its ticketed performances. The Town of Aurora adds free seasonal celebrations — holiday tree lightings, family fun days, and outdoor movie nights — while community groups contribute free wellness classes, markets, and cultural events. Use the 'Free Events' filter at the top of this page to see every no-cost Aurora listing, each verified against the organizer's posting before it appears. New events are added daily, and the weekly York Happening newsletter highlights standout free activities so you can register before they fill.

Question 3
