About This Event
Join Dyslexia Canada this October during National Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Month for an informative workshop which challenges common myths about Dyslexia and replaces them with clear, evidence-informed facts.
Participants will learn:
- How dyslexia affects reading and writing.
- Why early intervention matters.
- What effective instruction should include, and how accommodations can support access without lowering expectations.
*This program is designed for parents, caregivers, and educators, and it will also provide practical questions and advocacy strategies participants can use in school meetings.*
We look forward to welcoming you there!
