Man Wanted in Harassment Investigation Located
A 31-year-old man wanted in a criminal harassment investigation has been located and taken into custody.
A 31-year-old man wanted in an ongoing criminal harassment investigation has been located. Baraa BADAWI, 31, of no fixed address, was released from the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on June 25, 2026, on a release order.
During July and August 2026, investigators learned that conditions of his release order had been breached. Investigators were unable to locate him, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On the evening of October 15, 2026, BADAWI was located in Georgina and taken into custody. He is charged with breaching conditions of his release.
