How to get drop-in times

Drop-in swims (rec, length, parent and tot, and therapy swims) can be booked and paid up to 7 days ahead for residents and 4 days for non-residents. A few walk-in spots open one hour before the start.

  1. Open the City's swimming page and choose a pool and swim type.
  2. Book and pay with a City of Vaughan online recreation account, or try a walk-in spot an hour before.
  3. Join the waitlist if the swim is full; you get an email if a spot opens.

What it costs

  • Rec, length and parent and tot swims (residents): adult $7, youth (13 to 17) $3.75, child (4 to 12) $3.50, older adult (65+) $4.50; under 4 free. Adult 10-visit pass $54.60. Source

Getting started

Public pools run lane swims for fitness, leisure swims for fun, and family swims for parents and young children. Most swims cost a few dollars, and passes cost less per visit.

  • Length swims are for ages 7 and up who pass the facility swim test.
  • Children 6 and under need a parent or guardian (16+) in the water within arm's reach.
