Richmond Hill's Christmas market happens five times. Merry Marketplace opens Richmond Green Park on five Saturdays, from November 14 to December 12, 2026, and each one has its own theme. Admission is free, and the event runs in rain or snow.

The five themes
November 14 is Grinchmas. November 21 is Frosty Festivities. November 28 is the Penguin Polar Party. December 5 is Gingerbread Lane. December 12 is Reindeer Round Up.
Finding your way around
The main entrance is at the start of the north walkway, just southeast of the Richmond Green Sports Centre. Contests and activities are in Agricultural Building #2, and the Artists' Co-Op Richmond Hill is in Boynton House. Attendants direct cars to several public lots.
The Santa line closes at 7:30 p.m., half an hour before the market ends. The lights stay on until 10 p.m.
Food bank draw
Give a non-perishable item at the Information Booth for the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. Each donation earns one weekly entry in a draw for a holiday prize pack, and the City picks the winner on December 13.
